The time for action is now. Why do we accept?

Diagonal interview with Hugo Chávez: “The people must have a real possibility to govern”
A ray of hope in our predatory world.

Note the inference that it is due to the police.

Good article, read and THINK.

A dumb-ass comment left on CBC - DeAnna wrote:Posted 2009/01/01 at 6:20 AM ET
2009 hope. I hope Canadian news agencies report more good news than bad news. We know politicians are all crooked. We know our children are dying in Afganistan. We know the environment in tandem with the economic recession is a world wide mess. So why not some good news concentrating on regular Canadian citizens and people around the world who just by going about their 'little' lives do offer hope and good news. Enough with a page of downer headlines. Methinks people will be checking out the news less and less in 2009 because it offers no hope, just more bad news. Where is the balance, eh?
She wants a complaint free world - she wants to dig her head in the sand and forget that there is something that needs to be done, changes that need to be enacted. She wants to trust those in power to do it for her and to make it all better.

US rescue averted 'financial collapse': Treasury - Raw Story
More propaganda to start your new year. To make you think that the bailout is doing something; that there is oversight and that there is a ray of hope.

The Canadian Nixon - Story
More on the weasel. An older story about Stephen (weasel) Harper.
Came from reading this - Watch the videos.

Suspicious packages force evacuations in Aspen - MSNBC
